Reinvesting in Our Community
When people make VMRC their home, they stay connected to the things they love. We strive to be the welcoming, nurturing, caring place we each would want to call home. For more than 60 years, our mission has driven us to create a community that represents the best that retirement living has to offer.
VMRC Foundation’s current campaign initiative provides innovative, compassionate care, rooted in our Mennonite heritage and values. The priorities of the campaign include:
Transitional Care - Thirty-five private rooms and a new rehab gym in Oak Lea to improve the experience and outcomes of short-term rehab patients.
Completing Woodland Park - A community center, expanded campus shuttle service, improved access from Crestwood and five additional homes for Complete Living Care will complete the Woodland Park community.
Compassion Endowment - When fully endowed, this fund will provide daily care for assisted living and complete living care residents who have outlived their financial resources.
Nurse Education Endowment - We value the contribution of all VMRC employees and provide opportunities for continued education through the Staff Development Endowment. We believe a special endowed fund to enhance the educational benefits to our nursing staff is a critical part of growing our employees.
