Good Samaritan Fund
As the aging population grows, so does the likelihood that people will outlive the resources that provide for their long-term care. Many people believe Medicaid will cover the cost of daily elder care. Unfortunately, it covers just a portion of the cost of long-term care for only the very poor, and only when personal assets have been depleted. VMRC’s ability to provide care for residents without financial resources is through a partnership with the family, the church, the friends in our community and the government. By joining this partnership, VMRC can fulfill its mission as a compassionate, caring community.
Your gift to the Good Samaritan Fund provides:• quality health services delivered by caring staff
• nutritious meals in a social atmosphere
• laundry services for clean clothes and linens
• comfortable, secure, pleasant surroundings
• health and wellness activities
• crafts, activities, and engaging programs
• spiritual care and on-campus worship services
