Fundraising Events

The 28th Annual Golf Tournament is July 19 at Heritage Oaks Golf Course in Harrisonburg. Proceeds will benefit Memory Care at VMRC, helping to support individuals and families whose lives are touched by dementia and memory loss disorders.

The Celebration of Lights event offers residents, their families, staff, and the extended community an opportunity to come together to remember and honor their loved ones. The program consists of a time for meditation, prayers, music and litanies followed by a reception on Main Street. Gifts are made in honor or memory of loved ones, with the donations benefiting the Good Samaritan Fund. The names of all those that have been honored with a gift are placed on an ornament and hung on one of the many Christmas trees that decorate the auditorium, and are also listed in the event program along with the donor's name.
