VMRC recently opened a new community health center providing primary care health services along with some ancillary lab services. Located in the heart of VMRC's main street, it makes getting great medical care even easier for residents and community members.
VMRC Outpatient Therapy
VMRC partners with Select Rehabilitation Services to provide outpatient rehabilitation services. Select Rehabilitation is one of the nation's premier provider of contract rehabilitation services.
Transitional Care
You'll find an excellent short-term nursing and rehabilitation program at VMRC that's available to anyone in the community transitioning from hospital to home. Our multidisciplinary team integrates modern health care practices with individualized attention so you will receive the best care available.
Outcome-focused specialized care will help shorten and reduce hospital stays and will lay the groundwork for a successful discharge to home or to a lower level of care. With your rehab team, you will set realistic treatment goals, identify obstacles to success and develop a plan to overcome those obstacles. Learn more here.
Assisted Living
You'll find friends among this community of comfortable, private studios and suites in Crestwood where seniors enjoy socializing at meals and at numerous activities. Assisted living care is tailored for each individual to ensure that residents continue to enjoy their favorite interests, pursue hobbies and visit with family and friends.
Complete Living Care
VMRC's Complete Living Care honors the wishes of residents, providing compassionate care that enables seniors to live how they choose. We partner with families to help seniors maintain independence and enjoy each day to the fullest. We provide a home environment that promotes independence and freedom of choice, encouraging residents to develop their own routines, while offering care and support when needed. We believe daily care and support goes beyond physical and medical health--providing compassion, friendship, and opportunities for each person to find social, emotional, and intellectual fulfillment.
Consisting of Woodland Park and Oak Lea residences, the care is provided by highly qualified RNs, LPNs and certified nursing assistants available 24 hours a day. Residents and families have the confidence knowing that any changing health needs will be identified and cared for by our staff. These licensed care environments exeed Virginia Department of Health required standards, earning VMRC an excellent reputation. Oak Lea recently earned a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the highest attainable. Our newest neighborhood, Woodland Park, is leading the way in providing a true home for Complete Living Care residents. These residential homes were intentionally designed to lack any resemblance to a hospital or institution and provide private bedrooms and bathrooms for each resident to call their own, plus an open hearth and kitchen area to encourage socialization and collaboration. Dementia Care
As the population ages, more and more adults will know someone with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory loss. VMRC specializes in caring for and serving adults and their families who are touched by Alzheimer's diseases or other memory loss disorders. Learn how our secure neighborhoods may benefit someone you know. Memory Care at VMRC includes a wide-range of community education services provided by VMRC staff and community resources.
