VMRC was recently awarded the LeadingAge Virginia Organization Stewardship Award. The award recognizes a community that has been exemplary in building public trust and confidence in aging services through public service, collaboration, media or other efforts to educate consumers and make them informed.
Of the award, VMRC’s CEO Judith Trumbo said, “It is because of VMRC employees that we are receiving this award. In the midst of a pandemic, their work, care and kindness made a difference in the lives of residents and is being recognized by those in the community and beyond”
