Carolyn Wilson felt like she was home from the first time she drove up The Park Village driveway. She shares that VMRC isn’t an institution, it’s a community. It’s official! After years of dedicated work, the Farm at Willow Run has become USDA Certified Organic. This means the farm’s produce meets USDA organic standards, having been grown in soil without USDA-prohibited substances or pesticides.

From an impressive pool of more than 500 entries coming from 19 states, including as far as Oregon, jurors meticulously curated 92 exceptional works of art from 179 artists. The VMRC National Juried Art Exhibition opened on Sunday, May 26. Since the opening, winners have been announced.

Carolyn Wilson's life experiences are as diverse as the flowers she grows. She was born in Long Beach, California and grew up in a Navy family. During her youth, Carolyn's family did two turns in Norfolk, Virginia — home to the world’s largest naval base. She also lived in Oklahoma, New Mexico, Maryland and Washington D.C.
