Kristin Jackson joined the VMRC community in June of 2025. Prior to her arrival, she served as Executive Director for Otterbein SeniorLife, a continuing care retirement community with multiple locations throughout Ohio and Indiana. She began her career as a central supply clerk and went on to hold a variety of senior care industry roles, including activity director, admissions director and social worker. Kristin is a licensed nursing home administrator and holds a bachelor’s degree in human services leadership and a master’s degree in health care administration. Her leadership has consistently driven success in resident satisfaction and operational excellence across independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing communities.

 Here’s what Kristin says about her leadership approach:

 Kristin moved to Harrisonburg from Saint Paris, Ohio. She is blessed with three amazing grown children: two sons and a daughter. She also has three fur-babies: a black lab who joins Kristin at work occasionally, a mixed-breed rescue dog and a Seal Point Siamese cat. Kristin enjoys traveling, especially to the beach, volunteering at her church and outdoor adventures.
