Finding Inspiration & Connection Through Community Arts & Entertainment

This spring, VMRC residents enjoyed the Upbeat Downtown Music Series held at  Court Square Theater in Harrisonburg. The VMRC-sponsored lineup of talented musicians covered the music of Simon & Garfunkel, Johnny Cash, Taylor Swift and others.

Outings to enjoy these events felt like more than just a show. Couples on a date night, friends gathering to make new memories and individuals excited to meet new faces from across the area all gathered in one place and had fun.

It’s not the first time VMRC residents ventured out for live music, and it certainly won’t be the last. This month, residents will enjoy the sounds of Bach as part of the 33rd Annual Bach Festival happening in Harrisonburg.

When someone moves to VMRC, they inherit far more than a beautiful home and top-notch amenities. Living at VMRC means becoming part of a broader, richly layered local community. From the farmer’s market to the symphony, from quirky local cafés to world-class universities that support lifelong learning, there’s always an enriching experience to have.

Ready for a front-row seat to local arts and culture? Join our vibrant community of passionate residents who are expanding their horizons by connecting through the power of community arts.
